Thanks to an e-mail from Padmini Mayuranathan we will note that most of the gods listed here as Hindu were in the Verdic texts as of 2,500 years ago. But scholars and knowledgeable Hindus could call gods on these pages the Verdic gods, and the Indian page of gods the non-Verdic gods.
